Lhomon Education (LME) is a grassroots initiative fostering the development of innovative curricula designed specifically for Bhutanese students. The basis of the LME initiative is an alternative model of teacher training and curriculum development that integrates principles of Gross National Happiness (GNH) in the truest sense of the term.

Virtual Photography Training

than 25 participants including teachers, nurses, monks, college students and a
few others are currently involved in virtual photography training with us.
Tomorrow will be the last session!
The training is designed to help participants learn the
fundamental of photography and the key skills involved in it. It is also to
encourage them to use photography as art to express ideas, situations and
emotions.

Our youngest students have learned the Manjushri song. They also did beautiful arts and paintings of the Arya Manjushri. Check out the video!

Meditation Practice!
Today, we are very happy to organize a meditation program for our monks, lamas and lopons. The program was Led by Khenchen Sonam Tashi and few other senior teachers of the Institute. Meditation is a very important regular practice in the Institute. We integrate the practices in our daily class, everyday morning and evening prayers. Occasionally, we all come together to practice it.
