Community Wakefulness Retreat - One

Much of the problem that we see today in the world is due to mental starvation because we don’t give enough food to our minds. It is important to know that, just as we take care of our physical body, we need to take care of our mind. The mind is one of the most important things we have.

Therefore, to educate about the mind and its importance, Lhomon Education and Chokyi Gyatso Institute - Dewathang are currently organizing a three-day wakefulness retreat for the community people of Dewathang.

The training is designed to help participants learn the fundamental of photography and the key skills involved in it. It is also to encourage them to use photography as art to express ideas, situations and emotions.

Arya Manjushri

"Manjushri will make our MIND good/clear," said, Ugyen Lhendup, 8 years child student!

Our youngest students have learned the Manjushri song. They also did beautiful arts and paintings of the Arya Manjushri. Check out the video!

The song is originally composed and sung by Mr Simon Thomos for the Blue Lion Preschool, Singapore.

We are very happy to get a copy of the Album and a songbook from Simon, some months ago. Thank you, Simon Thomas and Blue Lion Preschool Chokyi Gyatso Institute - Dewathang
